★★★★☆ Loved it!

Very good! After watching the movie, I wanted to see if the book was good and, surprise, it was! I love that you get to see not only the perspectives of those in the band (Stella, Olivia, Wen, Charlie, and Mo), but some other characters as well. Each character is unique and I bet anyone can relate to at least one of them if not more. A revolution through music and just the way this book is written makes it really unique.
★★★★☆ A good read

Lemonade Mouth documents the rise to fame of the fictionalized band called Lemonade Mouth, made up of school outcasts Stella, Wen, Charlie, Olivia and Mo, and how it was formed as a high school past-time and eventually turned into a music revolution. I particularly like that each of the first-person viewpoints of the five band members of Lemonade Mouth were told with a unique style that was appealing in different ways. Mark Peter Hughes’ first book, I Am the Wallpaper, is one of my all-time favorite stories! Hannah
