In 2017 and 2018, Palliser Regional Library created Community Needs Assessments for its communities throughout south-central Saskatchewan. These assessments address demographics and statistics regarding literacy, crime rate, and poverty. They also outline the governmental structure, industries, programs, and services in these communities and their surrounding areas.
The purpose of these assessments was to evaluate needs in the communities, in order to inform Palliser Regional Library's future initiatives and the initiatives of any government and social agencies that wished to receive the assessments.
